Wow, I would have never guessed how enjoyable digital painting can be!
For a starter piece, I wanted to create a canyon scene at sundown. I've experiemented with various brushing techinques to achieve certain effects and after a long progression of errors and successes, I can honestly say I feel a certain satisfation after it's completion.
You rock. totaly.
Expect this to be on the front page.
btw, I'm faving this.
I loved the colors, the drawing style, the colouring and practicaly everything.
It looks nice, especially for a starter piece. Guess next week when I come back from my trip I may start using tablet in photoshop and try something like this.
Very nice. Especially for a first time. I don’t think I’ve ever been all that good at digital painting. Then again, I never tried to much. So was this all exploratory or did you pick up a few tips somewhere?
The warm colors and overall feel is very very fun.. I like this one alot. good use with brushstrokes.. combining rough and and detail to bring balance and contrast to the features in the background.. buildings and the warm browns and golds throughout the work. keep up the excellent work..

I greatly appreciate the comments Worgun, I glad to hear about the warm browns and golds but in some cases I may have overdone it, heh. Thank you again Worgun, and I will continue to do so.
